Good as a Wacom - 50 bucks

50 bucks gets you a nice tablet. I thought it was going to be dinky. It has a nice big work area. About the same as my little cintiq. Seemed to work a lot better at keeping up with the tools in photoshop. Maybe because the pen has a little battery in it. Who knows. I'm using old Mac X os. A very old mini mac. Works great. Don't go by the drawing. I just need to make sure I have better ergonomics . I was working in my lap and it was bad for the back.
Another sketchiness happening with the new tablet. Hard to bench test how your system would work. This is ram challenged old mini mac. 100dpi. Handled smear really well, keeping up on the tablet. Sign of a good driver.
Massaged it more because the ergonomics gota big improvement. I hate to say it. I enjoy it more than the cintiq.

Yes!
I'll let you know what I think of it.

It has a different feel. But I'd say for the money it will do anything you'd be able to do with wacom. Also, it's a definite upgrade for my mini mac. I was using the super small wacom with an index card size work area. It also is a trouble free plug and play. I unplug it, put it away. Re-plug it , use it.

So anyway. I like it as well as I like my cintiq or my nice wacom tablet I used to have a Heavy Iron. It is fun to paint with. And it is totally plug-unplug, no hassle. Like plugging ear buds in. Maybe because the pen has a little battery and the pad is just a usb power. Keeps driver problems down.

Thanks Marty. I'll do one with a little less of a blobby start. This thing is just massaged -multi layer blob.

Now my neck's out! No. I think you'll be happy with them. Review once you goof with it. Talk about your set up , etc.

I just ordered from Monoprice a desk mounted monitor arm for 20 odd bucks. I'll let you know if that makes my cintiq experience more pleasant or not. That's the goal. Also ordered replacement pen nibs for the tablett pen while I was at it. 10 for 70 cents. So I ordered 40. A lifetime supply I assume.

I ordered that arm and nibs. And had the overnoght service bounce off my gate. Real pisser. I just had monoprice tell the overnight outfit to return it, re-send ups. It will cost 7 extra dollars. Arrive probably Thursday or who knows. Have to remember, no overnight for me. Or always order amazon where I always use ups.
