Bee Catcher? Capt America v Green Lantern

Bee Catcher Video

Tom, counterpoint to your Bee Keeper.
Ran across this on my walk.
A sticky card designed to catch and kill bees?
What's the point?
I've never heard of bees being considered such an overriding nuisance that they require culling like this.
In fact the opposite. People writing articles talking about scary declines in Bee population.

I have my "no movies for Ellis until they're on Amazon rental" reaction to Capt America and Green Lantern in the comments

@TAGnorth

I've created a Twitter profile for TAG... It's called @TAGnorth but I consider it something that both the original TAG group as well as the group up here could enjoy getting info from.  If you follow it, then I will follow you and retweet stuff that might be of interest to all.  Check it out!

First Fun Trailer To Come From LibraryYOU ...

Ellis: please do your custom magic to make this play correctly in the blog, then tell me what you did.
Title sends you to LibraryYOU's Web site.
Here is the first trailer to be made from LibraryYOU content: "Bee vs. Quilt" ... I wanted to test how easy it was to use iMovie's trailer making templates. Case closed: I made this one in about an hour. Enjoy.

Banner Ad Work

Click Headline to see a MOV of a Flash File I'm working on. The tesla bolt is a symbol in flash I can distort, overlay, make color effects with etc.
First part of a banner idea where this bolt dissolves a mask revealing type. An Ad idea of some sort.
Selling me right now.
Rotoscope a tesla coil. Changed it a bit to tighten up origins, ending. Also put some more continuity here and there. Extra noise.
Ad itself will have some extra spark symbols for the mask dissolve.

Insanely good stuff

The material borders on the naughty from time to time, so may not be entirely work-safe. Love the colors, structured looseness, and bold action. Get a very confident vibe from his work and I dig it.

What I've been up to...

I've been doing a lot of sketching here and there.  More often than not I've been drawing "Creeple" (©2012 Rick Schmitz), as seen here.  I've hit upon a combination of brush pen and fountain pen (both disposable from Japan--LOVE THEM) that I'm pretty happy with.  I did a Donkey Kong drawing recently with a lot of inkwork that someone said looked "Wrightson-esque"... I felt fairly smug for the rest of the day.

Graphicly

Click on the title to check out Graphicly, an ecomic publishing service.  It looks interesting, to be sure, and it appears to make your comic PC/Kindle/iPad friendly.
