Just the perfect thing for a guy that's slightly OCD. Once I started i had to hit every day. OafCon is fun. I'll post more photos. Bart says hi Jim.

Yeah, we wanna hear more about your OafCon experience!! With photos!! Give us a proper blow-by-blow...we love to feel like we were there.

And please don't stint on the Ellisms, or the Ellis-insights.

Basically we want a travel memoir. With photos.

Also--THE CURSE OF THE DEMON!!

Wonderful how recognizable you've made the satanist. Blair and I just watched "The Seventh Victim" the other night in TCM's Val Lewton celebration...missed TCOTD this year (on too late) but seen it many times and it really holds up (even if the demon is cheezy).

The Inktobers are great. My faves are Sentinel, Rusted Robot, Spaceman (very evocative rendering), the Werewolf, Dragon, and the big-head cowbuy which looks more like pencil to me, but there you go. All of 'em were quite great!

I didn't even realize you were posting to Mold breaker on Blogger to this day...some great stuff.

And we'll expect some great stuff from all that new brushpen equipment you just wrangled....

I'll paste together some video of OAFcon. In a couple of weeks I'll be at Amazing Con. A con that is apparently done roadshow style. Blowing into town with fixed numbers of Comic Book celebrities. I think it nay have something to do with Rob Liefeld. He's always on the celebrity roster I believe.

Thanks for digging my Inktobers. The Cowboy was ballpoint. I watch the 7th Victim as well. So freaky. That non ending ending.

One of the scariest parts of 7th victim is in the very beginning when Kim Hunter tells the headmistress and her assistant that she is leaving the orphanage...she just wants to find her missing sister, and promises to come back. Kim leaves the office and the assistant follows her to say good bye but then looks at her with serious fear and almost pleads, "Don't come back!" Spoken in a "save yourself!" way.

Like the Ren n' Stimpy where they're door-to-door rubber nipple salesman and Mr. horse answers the door and just whispers, "CALL THE POLICE" before disappearing back inside....

Yes, that scene says there is all kinds of harsh reality but that the reality inside the little fortress of solitude is opting to die early. It's a nice touch. Every one in the movie is bigger than the usual constrained type. They slop at the edges and do very little cliche antagonist - protagonist action. Like when George Sanders goes over and mocks the poet for his tailing operation, but then gives up the girl he has been keeping hidden. Very easily, just had the standard amount of human rectitude when he sees people that really want something, he gives it up. Then becomes the guy that gives the killer quote at the end. Hugh Beaumont!
