Awesome Rick. I'm seeing your Germany photos on facebook. Looks like a cool new experience. i hope the workplace is as cool and some good co workers make it rewarding.

So far the new job is pretty great! My last job had just become an art production job for a casino clone... this one is more of a leadership job on 3 new titles. The team has been really welcoming and talented. Diverse, too, with people from all over Europe and beyond. My last job was very slap-dash... except toward the very end of my run there was no planning or scheduling, projects started and stopped with no rhyme or reason and a lot of micromanagement from the top. Now I feel supported, appreciated and trusted and the projects are well run. Ultimately you want to feel like you are adding value and so far I think I am.

Great to hear that the new job is more satisfying. I guess boredom at the old job made the decision to take the Germany position a lot easier.

I like the big 2 by 4 elbow on the Bat-Hulk. Those kind of shape pushs are something you do well. One on my favorite brilliant George Bridgeman illustrations for anatomy is like that elbow shape. The forearm at the wrist is treated like a flat board shape, going into the round shape of the upper forearm. The kind of big shapes that help you invent.
