"The Teen Ellis" (page 2)
I crammed too much onto the page. And I'm not good at the "coloring" aspect. Want to redo the lower lefthand panel, where Mr. Mangroid looks over his shoulder. Page two of a 5 pager for the "TAG Annual Sampler"
Priceless stuff. Love the sixties-innocence reference to Rock Hudson, the dead-on Ellis-style dialogue, the plywood texture on the door. And I see now why you are in favor of hand-lettered word balloons. All very inspiring.
Yes, by Big Mig--and back to the very best Hellboy tradition. Tho' you'll probably find yrself frustrated at the brevity--we've been spoiled by years of hardcover collections! This is just first issue in final series 6 issues?)
