Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".
That Fluck and Law stuff is cool to see as an adult, but I would have HATED it as a kid. Too, too creepy. It would have made me nauseous and possibly have given me nightmares.
I'm with you Tom. Fairly often, old time TV when I grew up would play Fleisher cartoons. Which had nightmare levels of grotesqueness.BronsonMarty surprised me when he said he had not seen Hard Times with Charles Bronson. Walter Hill's Hard Times script is studied a lot as being the perfect Hill script. I was watching Man With A Camera and saw this one episode that featured Bronson doing a move he does identically 25 years later in Hard Times. For both you boxers. Marty and Tom.
