Figure drawing tonight

I may fix the staff holder in photoshop at some point. Move his shoulder area around.
But this is the untouched product.
It was fun. The costumes were complex and would have been very noisy to do accurately.
So there's a lot of simplification.
Which is a good thing to practice.
Liquified the shoulder- Cut the arm and moved it up. Now I'm happy.

Love it!

Ah, the life drawing...very cool stuff. Sure makes a person sweat, trying to capture everything in one quickie session. Bravo for getting back in the saddle, Goodson!

They're clothed! I feel like a Ferengi. My figure drawing is a different animal altogether than my drawings drawing (as few as there are). It looks like you apply the same rules and technique to your life and made-up work. I think that shows discipline.

Thanks Ben. I know little about Ferengi. Should I marathon watch all of Deep Space 9?

Looking like my Jeff Watts- Cal Institute- Riley method by way of Fred Fixler- is good. But I also want good cartooning and exaggeration present. I do strive to paint with the pencil.

Not as rigid and sourced as Fixler

"I DO STRIVE TO PAINT WITH THE PENCIL."

Words to live by.
