Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".
She's silent film era. I couldn't tell you the actress' name. Clara BowSo I did think of her.Nice. Just let fly when the mood hits. Drawing is great therapy.
I would say Clara Bow-like, did it from memory but the Silent era images are fascinating to study and are an inspiration.
Based on the number of colors here, I say you have long arms....Clara Bow is on TCM right now--"IT" which is a dang rollicking ride. Didn't they remake this in the 90's or something?? She's got so much moxie--and esp'ly compared to the grey fish populating the screen today (Natlaie Portman, et al).
...but this lady looks a little more Claudette Colbert, circa C. DeMille's Cleopatra.
funny you say that Marty, had 2 images of Claudette Colbert from Cleopatra in a pile of refs next to me. I'm more of a Louise Brooks as the all time silent star.
Oh and the pencils were just a misc bundle within arms length, just used what was there as I drew
