Frankenstein-Fail-Then Clean Up

This version. The Monster was very Wrightson. Just all about bone structur. Very little scarring. It was mainly gray-dead skin color. And the skin texture was crumbly in appearance.. The story was the best I've seen at cramming all the main points from the book into a good film.

I moved my post down. I'll tell you guys with a unique post once I'm on my way or any other big crisis news.
And I'll be real happy to post any good news.

This is why I can post my mediocre drawings right next to Marty's great drawings. Sage advice from Shane Glines...

"I've spent my entire career obsessively trying to “learn how to draw” when I should’ve just been drawing. Always thinking “I just need to get a little better… and then I’ll start working on (insert any of a hundred personal projects)”

The fact is that i’ve been good enough since my teens- and would’ve improved so much more rapidly had my study been in the service of any of those projects- and not in the dozens of sketchbooks pilled in my closet.

Lesson: Don’t use “learning” as an excuse to avoid “doing”.“

That is very good advice from Mr. Glines. It inspired me so much I too will start posting again as soon as I'm good enough.

(angry face) "Tom!!"

Ellis, you're being silly. But good advice for all of us. As that Greek goddess of victory once said: "JUST DO IT."

Was this film (from 2004) done in B&W?? He does look very Wrightsonian...but with a nose.

LOVE IT. This is a great idea for your Ebay sketches--connect them to a known property, draw on that fanbase...maybe pen-n-inks of "This Gun For Hire" next? (My friend tells me they are doing a new movie version--WTF?!)

Yes, the Wrightson did have the Phantom Of The opera effect. It was in color. Had a nice set for the ice bound clipper. Nice touches like having a likeness of a loved one instead of a photo. Little stylized paintings. Netflix streaming glitched and claimed there was no part one of a two part episode. So I just watched the last/second episode. Got a very high opinion of it. Netflix corrected their glitch, I see the first episode, and I have slightly less enthusiasm for it. Odd. I must be a third act guy.

Good advice on not waiting until one's "ready". I guess we'll always still be learning.

About the payment, sorry I haven't gotten it yet, my classes are all during bank hours, and its been tricky getting the cash deposit in. I suppose I could use a machine. At any rate I checked and will have PLENTY of time tomorrow. I'm sorry this came at the same time as your issues. If you absolutely need it today PLEASE let me know, and I will figure something out.

No sweat Benjamin. My issues are causing my ebay activity.

Advice: be like Marty and sculpt one of your own someday
