This writes a story in my head with just the one panel. Great work. Love the environment. Mankind is working toward achieving Giant Robot guardians. I hope to see them in my lifetime.

Well, it's not "Prime Mate," but it's pretty good nonetheless ...

My only bitch is that the image isn't larger. Are you worried someone will grab your material before publication Tom?
I dig the Robot's look, color texture. I just want closer.

Ellis, I put up a larger, double-size copy. Should at least fill the screen now.

Much better! Thanks!

Wonderful illustration! Are these going to be collected in book form?

I have no immediate plans to publish these using actual ink and paper. As an artist I'm in that phase where I'm intent on cultivating my vision of a personal universe, and sharing my efforts with a few close friends and colleagues. Someday... sometime in the future... as my video games career winds down, I want to have something to jump onto immediately upon retiring. Wait, don't call it retirement. Call it "the next phase" of my career.

This is splendid. I love this so much. I look forward to Moon 2.0.

Love it, Tommy. Really great design on the robot--love the colors on him, and the "textures." Town is great, too. More cartoony than your previous stuff to my eye, but by a very small degree.

A couple comments: with dust around his feet + the pose, I can't escape impression that he's skating into town.

Does thought bubble represent Robot thinking to himself? And his "driver" is the one talking outloud in the two word balloons? If they are two people talking, I wonder if repositioning them so they point more clearly to two different sources might strengthen the distinction?

The town limits sign in this one gave me the impression this is more in the vein of a "children's book" than the Dr. Kozmic stuff. While I respect children's books, I shed a little tear at the thought of you consiously leaving the adult (or "all ages") arena where Dr. Kozmic flew....

I think your images are so strong and evocative, I'd be cautious about crowding them with too much dialogue (crowding them both visually, but also as the "point" of the work--for me, the more I focus on deciphering/reading text, less the cool image keeps my attention).

I offer these thoughts because I love the stuff.

Thanks for the comments Marty. Always good to hear people's honest impressions. I'll be curious if and how your perceptions change as more images in this series are revealed. This is part of a larger story under development, and is not necessarily in its final form. The art and text may still be edited quite a bit. Revising and rewriting is part of my process now. So, like a good movie trailer I was hoping that this would pique people's interest without giving away too much.
