Wednesday digital photoshop doodle with Kyle Animator Pencil Preset.

Hey. I wish it was another 48 pages from Tom Moon too.
I bought a big package of Kyle Photoshop brushes at one point so that I'm on his email list.
This Animator Pencil preset is free.
I gave 5 bucks for it. Definitely worth that.
I really like doodling with it.
Feels like a pencil.
Hulk drawn in photoshop while I listened to the last 3 discs of The Black Dahlia by James Ellroy.
More contrast
You ever see the movie Idiocracy? I've been working on the sequel.
I've been trying to ink in photoshop with brush cursor set to reflect the shape of the brush. Meaning guesswork where my line is actually going to start. I just switched to 'precise' in the preferences.
Lord, what a difference a setting can make.
I might be able to draw without the messes I mention in the comment section.
coming soon- Bat Hulk

I love this way you have a drawing Batman Ellis. There's a certain Tony Millionaire quality to it, if you're familiar with his work.

The guy that draws the drunken crow. Yes. I like his work.

I adore the city as a framing device! Nice work Ellis!

Thanks Rick.
I'm still trying to find a working comfort and ease with art that is completely digital.

That Hulk is all digital but it was such a mess initially. You would think you could leave the mess behind easily as you rough, then start in the next layer. Not with me. I make the initial mess, then I make the next mess. I am the anti clean line artist.

Your green hulk is great Ellis! I've noticed that those are your two favorite comic characters, Batman and the Hulk.

I don't even think about it and that's who I draw. So I guess you're right Tom.

The two angriest characters in Comic-dom. Time to create your own mash-up, "Bat-Hulk".

You've made me think of it like this. Robin / Hulk. Early Bob Kane costume design of course. Just super stretchy.

Bat-Hulk. Now I see it. I'll doodle on that idea tonight. Thanks Tom. If I do it right it will go viral.

I got more RPG freelance. That makes me happy. I'll get some extra money right when I need it

If you're happy Ellis, we are all happy.

Bat-Hulk sketches looking cool. Hoping his bat-clothes are all torn up? :)

MrGoodson2 said...

I was thinking about that. Seems right to tear them up a bit.

Shouldn't you call Bat Hulk "Bulk"?

MrGoodson2 said...

I like that. I have to do my freelance or I'd be producing a Bulk painting. I've decided I want it to be a digital painting.
