This is exactly like shooting fish in a barrel.

I feel compelled to point out that perhaps the only thing more pathetic than Ep. 1 is spending this much time and effort analyzing it. ;)

Actually, this would be a great thing for beginning film students (or comic book writers) to see. This would be a great way to start a Story Telling 101 kind of class.

He goes after the Star Trek TNG movies too.

Rick, good idea. A class where everyone improves Episode 1.

Wouldn't it be great to do a comic book that re-wrote the entire Star Wars prequels the way they should have been done? Then publish the entire thing online, completely ignoring copyright laws, for the whole world to see? Everybody get busy!

AWESOME!! I think that every aspiring film writer should take a stab at rewriting episodes I-III. You can't get any worse then what was filmed. BTW at the time Ep I came out I was mentoring a story artist at Disney and had him reboard the first Darth Maul lightsaber fight because it lacked setup, emotion, and well lots of things. His version was MUCH better. I was also teaching at CalArts and you should of heard my rants about EpI. AAAAFRRRRGGGHHHH!!!
