It's fun until you want to gouge your eyes out

There is a lot of irony of me being the Artist Alley face of friendly authority.

A hungry Marty joined Eric at his table at Comic Fest.

Here I am enjoying the life lessons from a kid with a book at Artist Alley.

I thought comic art would be the last bastion of libertarians in the world of the arts. I was wrong.

Yep. It may have been during the first comic fest I realized that every one with any comics in their blood has a screw loose when it comes to politics. At a get together with Scott Benefiel and Jeff Remmer. I un scientifically polled them after a discussion on the topic of recent financial hardship who they were voting for. I guess one option was Romney. They were all Barack.

Mentally, I tried to imagine anyone I knew there in San Diego being for Romney. Couldn't picture him or her.

At least I know that one person is paying attention Ben. Hope you had a good time at Comic Fest.

I'll be there with my first YA book next year. Published by Lulu.

Don't know what YA stands for. The Fest needs you. There are great talents in the Artist Alley, but the non-talented in the room put out so much work that it makes up for it.

I am going to take off the second part of the post. I was ranting, and even though I stayed very general, I don't want anyone to look for an argument in the specific.

Young Adult. And you are wise not to be political. I had to get rid of triggers on Facebook. Now I'm doing better at not being political. Just use social media to stay in touch and make money.

Actually, your message about Wertham got me interested in looking up his biography... I imagine he would have prefered to be remembered for his work in Harlem helping black teenagers or his civil rights contributions than his book. Thanks for peaking my couriosity.
