The masks

Photoshop manipulation of screen captures, select and remove the midtones, print out on gray paper, work up detail and contrast with oil pastels, scan back into Photoshop, blur, burn, dodge, sharpen, paint, texture layer, and mask.

Freaky!! Very cool. Nice a nice tangible mass to 'em all...almost feels like painted paper-machier(sp)....

They look ripe for the velveteen walls of an Outer Limits Tiki lounge!

They came out great Ben. You definitely gave them a solid, 3D look, but with a hand-made feel.

Better than the originals. Great job. I think you made it too hard on yourself but there is a 100 ways to do the same thing.
