Going to Sooner Con tomorrow

Taking my little whiteboard sketchpad.
I'll take pictures of the con and my whiteboard

I had a good time and made some sales and enjoyed some people. Here's what I did on index cards as I waited for people to come to me.
Kind of a lure. One dollar for 5 minute doodles.
Table mate , Scott McClung captioned this as
"Here is Ellis Goodson using his super speed to do a sketch at SoonerCon Saturday."
Explaining the blurred hand.
More like having a fit, trying to do a child likeness.
 Last one.
Another overfed Goodson thread.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Looks like you are having some fun, Ellis! More details! How was the crowd?

Crowd was light.

The most fun thing I did the last day
Tumblr post-last sale at sooner con

I saw a great homegrown movie starring the horror host of my youth, Count Gregore.

Army of Frankensteins. Not to be confused with Frankenstein's Army. 60k!

It's a lot of cosplay, lots of book authors, light on comic creators. Dealers room was crafts as much as comic books. But a con that was great for intimacy.

60K the movie cost. Should clarify that previous note.

Dr Finski

The acting was alright. Ferguson / Gregore was the best part. They had 2 successions of people doing make-up. First group wasn't up to the task. And that is part of the charm. People ask the film makers, "Did you want the mustaches to look fake?" That was forst team's work. Second team did some great make up.
