Megamind

Question for Jeff if he notices this post. The IMDB trivia mentions Guillermo Del Toro being brought in to make the action more exciting for Megamind.
Any insider info about how that set with the story artists?
I loved the movie.

G. del Toro is a funny choice. I flipped on Hellboy II the other night at the moment of the interminable "final battle" (the one between HB and Elric, jr.--or is the Albino dad from Harry Potter?). I was bored. The actors looked bored. Even the machinery was dozing off.

G. del Toro is a terrible at staging believable action. Making Ron Perlman dance around like a slo-mo ninja is just...embarrassing.

But I thought Megamind not half bad. Tho' couldn't shake feeling Megamind himself was being voiced by Robin Williams....

That's my feeling about Guillermo's action cutting.
Whereas Megamind had great action scenes.
So I really wonder how many lofty input points were paid attention to.

I hear he's over at Dreamworks ALOT! There was just a story summit thingy that went over there and he was dropping the knowledge. As for MegaMind I haven't seen it. I own it and the kids have seen it but I haven't. I suck.
