Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".
No final decision so far on any get-together. No take-charge types among us I guess. Who ran everything in the early days of TAG, meeting times, hiring the model and such? Is there no TAG president? So much for anarchy as being the road to Utopia. Maybe everybody will have to hear about it at the very last minute via cell phone. Wait a minute, I don't have a cell phone!
Eric Shanower was in charge of TAG.I plan on being there Friday and Saturday. Lets play it like one of those facebook games. "Pick the book closet to you and turn to page 56" games.Saturday at noon, use your con guide to day's events. Then go to 8 and K in the middle of the Ball Park. Where a remnant of the Candy Factory is still standing. Then we'll eat some overpriced hotel lobby food just for the ambience.
Jeff and/I did a lot of the Con Lunch organizing. I think that Jeff probably has his hands full with getting his own con arrangements together and I'm not going to be attending, so it doesn't make sense for me to name a time and place.
The last I remember the location was Dennys in Mission Valley?? Ellis was always the default leader. As for time I don't know. We could always use TAG slacker time and do 11:00. ha ha. Jim posted the question so maybe he should catch us up. We're playing phone tag at the moment.
I think packing up and going far offsite would be annoying to most. I was serious. Lets meet at Petco by the Candy Factory and go to a hotel. Maybe sit next to a celebrity
I'm thinking that Ellis is right... going to Dennys in the middle of the day is going to be a hardship for most.I would really like to send some TAG North folks your way... please pick a time and place so I can have them meet up with you.

Middle of the day?!I thought this was going to be (after hours) at night!
