Doug T draws me as the shriveled up guy in Prometheus

Prometheus. Which I went to see! So I lied. Couldn't stand it and had to see it. And I liked it! Damn good flick. WTH is the critic class in this country smoking. I found it very smart and fun. Down the line, everything you'd want out of an Alien prequel.

I thought it was excellent. Close enough at times to give you really tingly expectations (as a fan of the original Alien movie), and so much potential for further storytelling along a different branch of the story. I can't even imagine how you begin to direct a picture like this with so much atmosphere and moving parts. Loved the design of the space ship Prometheus ...

Cool Tom. Another thumbs way up review.
No wasted parts. It's all there for a reason. Great storytelling.

Speaking of great storytelling. If you've never heard of it, I recommend Invisible Ink. Great easy to read discussion of structure all resonant stories share.

And maybe not so great storytelling. I've outlasted any impulse I had to pay for THOR. It's now on Netflix Instant.

So expect another one of my "where have you been" reviews.

Wow. Thor. The worst thing ever. Only redeeming virtue, the Stan Lee cameo.

This guy has so many dumb questions unanswered to his satisfaction he hates a great movie.
The dumbest. That the characters that pilot the ship don't have enough info to sacrifice themselves to keep the ship from leaving.
They have more than enough info.
I think this guy wanted a clone of Alien. People like clone storytelling. He wanted something even dumber than what he is complaining he got.
