Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".
These are good. The bottom two are the best. Good draftsmanship on all of them.
Thanks Ellis. Late night doodling
Nice! Nice n' ugly. These are great doodles, and doodling is s'posed to be mindless, but wonder if you've thought anbout working on your negative spaces? Which in the case of features on a face means those calming expanses of nothing (or very little) that help balance all the fun stuff. When you cut in those heavy cheekbones, outline the nose, draw the lids, etc., the face can get a little crowded. Maybe experiment and see how little you can put down and still make it look like one of yr girls? I have the hardest time doing this, but time and again I've seen people really, really respond to that sort of "evocative" drawing style (as opposed to the render every single bump and blemish style, which I tend toward to...).Love the variety!
What Marty says. You'll never be as popular as Bruce Timm or Shane Glines until you figure out what needs to be left out.
You should put one of your most ornate head dress type of desings on a photoshop layer. Make the layer above it black. Add a mask to that layer and pick out parts of the drawing. See what happens when you reveal about 10 percent of something like that.
