Thompson Draws and Types!

Here are some sketches I did at the TAG North meet and around school. Posted on FB as well. Saw Marty last week-end. He renewed the challenge to post some of these on the blog here. Had to lug out the old Gutenburg Renaissance Scanner 1600 and download the neceassary driver from the paleo-software archives website, always an anxiety-inducing chore for me.

Thanks for going to the scanner trouble Ron. It's great to see these sketches.
You should join Rick in the gag cartoon pursuit. Guys who draw "funny" are solid gold. I honestly don't think it can be taught. It's some sort of internal process.

Great. Love the ceiling pipes especially.

DUCTS, Tom, DUCTS!
Jeeze ...

Hmmm, looks like ducts... or ceiling pipes are a winner. Maybe a series is in order.

Ducts have feathers. These have none. C'mon Beata, figure it out. You con-du-it.

To giggle or to groan?
That is the question.
Oh, what the hell ...
I actually like stupid puns, Tom, and that gem came close to very nearly making my day.

And, YES, Ron ... we'd love to see
a (featherless) Duct Series!
