Bobby London who drew Dirty Duck and Popeye had a facebook entry for this video.. Claiming the artist, Jon Gnagy was his only "art school."

It's got a ton of his related art tutorials on the right of the page.

Great stuff but you notice he's calling the horse's ankle it's knee. Maybe in 56 you didn't go to school on comparative anatomy. Or maybe he was using simple points for kids. Still, he's given out info that says horses legs bend backwards from what we expect in a knee joint. Funny also that he makes a point of the sharp angle of the "joint" at the top.

Game Jam Background

Here's a sample of some background work I did for out recent Game Jam effort. It was meant to be a parallaxing background for a side-scrolling chase sort of game, but we didn't have time to put in the parallax. Still, it looked pretty good when it was scrolling along.

It's not too bad considering it was created at 2:00 am.
