Because of this post I went back to the very first TAG post and started reading forward. Great trip down the TAG memory lane. Hard to believe that this blog has been going on for almost nine years!
TAG is still my lifeline. Kinda like those prison movies where all the inmates talk to each other by tapping on the pipes. It keeps them from going mad from the isolation.
Tom, you are so right to call this blog a lifeline. I know it is for me! It started out that way, too--we were living in France and it really helped keep me sane to connect with everyone via the magical intranets.
Still does. And I don't even have the side benefit of living in Paris....:-(

Oh god I've always loved this drawing.
I was looking at ellis goodson art , google search. Ran into this old tag archive item.
Looks like something Gahan Wilson would draw.
Ellis, this Ell-vis (??) drawing is choice--but who did it??? What's the story??
And the link to Tom's Gorrila...oh, damn. What a great drawing. It had only grown in stature with the passing of time.
I think those posts were occurring in a pre-Marty world (a better time?). Also: Dok!
I won't even mention the Ranjo comment...I seem to remember someone by that name who helped hip us to this new "weblog" thing....
Happy Birthday, Jackson!

Thanks. I'm 61.
Ron Thompson, the multi talented, did that cartoon. Probably at Denny's. I'll see if I can find the whole page. That's a crop of the "jam."

Just poppin' in to say that that ELLVIS sketch has always been among my most favorite gems in the great treasury of Ron's artwork.
Denny's jams rule!
I will NEVER sell my copy of Gore Hole ... even though I'm conspicuously missing from the back cover photos.
Also, Marty, quit beating me to the PUNch, ya big poophead!
Marty IS a poopyhead, isn't he?
The TAG blog was my lifeline when I was in MASS. It kept me connected to all of my favorite people!
