I consider it a good omen going into my interview tomorrow with SERCO.

The gig is Graphic Designer. That uses the computer to do things. Here's the
Job Description:
Uses computer graphic systems to produce graphic sketches, designs, and copy layouts. Sets size, color scheme and style to achieve goals set for finished product. Works with sales, public relations and promotional department to develop communications materials.
-Should have experience in the following: vector illustrations/diagrams, Faster graphics/effects, print design, character art, comic graphic novel illustration, UI design, Flash animation & effects, mobile interface graphic design, video editing.
Experience with Adobe Cloud applications, Unity engine development, 3D manipulation and basic modeling a definite plus.
I can do all that and have experienced it all. Blah blah. I would make a great part of a pipeline. Hopefully age is a plus. That occurred to me the other day. Can't age be like a plus check mark on Gov subdidized employment rolls? We hire old people. Just like minorities are a special interest.
Seems like you'd be a natural for this job, Ellis. I can't imagine them finding someone more qualified. :)
The interview went well. 4 people , i person on skype like video connection on a big TV monitor. The 4 across a conference table from me asking questions. I handled it all very well. Lot of good nods at my responses.
3 men 1 woman in the conference room. I woman remote connection.
Really want the job. It has everything I'd be interested in doing. Film, photoshop, video, illustration. Sounds like they have a few crunches but I'm up for that.

The southern tip of the base, just offsite.
High walled cubicles within. I liked the high walls. Closet sized spaces. Designed for concentration

If it's at the Southern tip. It's probably the Navy facility
It's just the other side of 240 from the base. So you could call that well off base.
