I've heard from a couple of NON-TAGsters, but Ellis is the only TAGster who has given me feedback about this year's Artist Alley at SDCF. And he won't even BE there, probably! :(
... although hope springs eternal.
I cannot give you guys what you want, unless I know what it is that you want. Registrations are already active, but AA plans are at a complete standstill. YOU can change that by replying to the e-mail I sent out last week. I'm begging y--
Oh, dammit ...

Hi Beata,
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you.
I sent you an e-mail with my feedback.
Thanks, Tom!
Oh Pee Won.
Cute.
It's a kick to be in artist alley. Jim Gorham should sell prints of his ornamental portraiture.
Buncake should be there again.
Tom Carrol should be there, pitching and schmoozing.
Tom Moon should be there with a preview of his Giant Robot.
We all should be there.
I probably won't be.
More like, I'm 99 percent sure I won't be.

Ellis is right.
Marty, Rick, Ron, Jeff, ...
ALL of you REALLY need to be there.
Are there any pictures and/or videos of what it was like last time?
Tom, see the first 5 pictures in this album:

But note that that room was tiny!
This year, AA will either be outdoors or in the Windsor Rose room (the last 9 pics of that same album).
The last 4 pics in this album give you a better idea of the Windsor Rose:

Thanks! Got a good feel for it now.
Those pictures brought it all back. That is a Great Hotel to have the run of for a weekend.
I'd recommend that there be some graphic of the best route to the parking area. I got into the tree lined, but uninviting looking spaces all in front of the room area and thought I'd never figure out where to park. Once you know the best way to get to it, it's the best parking possible.
I would love to come but I just got back from my big family trip of the year.... and there's no way I can go to SD without taking the rest of the family with me... which is expensive.
Beata! Sorry about not RSVP'ing yet...I haven't been able to decide which is best. But I remember Ellis saying he didn't like last year's location.
Has anyone here put up their vote yet?
And yes--I'll definitely be there! So...am I supposed to register for a table somewhere?
I'll check the TAG FaceBook page (we've been traveling this fine country of ours).
And Beata! Thanks again for doing all this!
I didn't like aspects of the other location. Love the hotel. My vote is the artists hang outside by the pool next to the dealers room. More synergy. More huckster potential.
Sooner Con events I get to go to. Should have the whole weekend off.
Also want to go to the event that honors Count Gregore.
I'll say "It's me Igor!" see if he goes for it.
Marty has to be there. Sell his sketchbook. Make me famous.
I voted for the larger, outdoor location for Artist's Alley. I looked at Beats's pictures of last year's event. It just didn't look that inviting to be in that little Rose Room to me.
Last years room was tight and also a dead end. Uninviting for flow by.
