Oh, and I vote for "Lion: The Professional" as the new name. A lion transmogrified into a hired killer who befiends a young woman and trains her before his dreams of returning to the plains of the Serenghetti overwhelm him.
Nice Tom Carroll. Thanks all. It's basically a story that has direct rip off ancestry from a Richard Corben story called the Beast of Wolvton. Mixed with a little Kronos : Vampire Hunter.
I'll start laying the spot illo of the page on the Blog next week. I've decide to do a main image drawing per page as the first pass through the book. They'll be rough but they'll be the main action of the page.
I'm going to file my Lion idea away as a semi-spoof of the Jean Reno film. A trained killer who devolves into a ravening beast (sort of like Beauty and the Beast, but in reverse) is something that appeals to me ... ;-)
TM: My avatar is actually from a fun little app based on the TV show "Madmen" (which I've never seen ... we cancelled our cable long ago). I used the app as a starting point; then -- since the options were limited -- did some image editing in Photoshop. Here's the link ... http://madmenyourself.com

Thanks Beata, it looks really fun. Man Men is an incredible series. Rent it from Netflix from the beginning. You must.
I only hear "FTW" from my colleagues in the gaming industry. Does the general public use it?
Okay, here's the new me.
