Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".

Working on Character
Nadja, professional Lion Killer. In an alternate reality where lions rule the wilderness and settlements require professionals like Nadja. I'm studying Charles Sanders and Cheeks. Probably need to pull out the Joe Chiodo as well since he does this elongation thing so well.
Exciting that we are now going to see the results of you being able to direct all your time and talent into designing and showing us your own private universe Ellis.
I'm imagining Ellis' house awash in broken lead points, oceans of pencil shavings, hundreds of balled up notebook pages, shredded paper from recalcitrant sketchbooks, stacks of spent pizza boxes, and crates of empty Gatorade bottles ... Ahhhh: the Creative Process ...
Krayonzilla noted that the bandanna look makes her like Electra. Believe it or not, I didn't see this when I sketched it. She's actually missing a big part of her top scalp. When she's having to be social, she wears a wig. It's a reveal in the story.
Ellis, I need to send you an email but the only address I have for you is your Heavy Iron one. Please send me a message at rick@rickschmitz.com so I can send a message back to you. Thanks!
It changed Tom. And may change again. L:istening to my radio play I changed the name a couple of times during the reading. That's what I'll work on today. The script so I can do a brand new play. Which I'll put on youtube and link back here so you guys can give me notes

Pretty passive right now. I'm listening to my first draft script and taking/making notes.
After I get done with my nap

So that's why the sketches looked familiar. Some of them do resemble Elektra.

"Nadja"? Wait. Did her name change between when you first posted and just now? Or am I imagining things?
