Link to Tom's YouTube Particle FX Videos
Could you guys do me a favor? Click on the link above and see if you can view my YouTube Particle FX page. A potential employer is asking to see some examples of my particle work. Since I don't have a website yet, the best I could do was upload some videos to YouTube. Do the videos run? Are you able to set the resolution to HD and see them okay? Thanks!

I see them.
Cool. Thanks Ellis. Heh, somehow I thought you might be up this late monitoring TAG!
I see them too.
Great. Hey, last night I got to see an advance screening of "Saving Mr. Banks", the Disney film about the behind-the-scenes story of the making of Mary Poppins, showing the conflict between P.L. Travers and the Disney people.
Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as P.L. Travers, the author of the Mary Poppins books. Two thumbs up from me. Hanks are Thompson are great together. It made me want to read the Mary Poppins books. Anyone here read them?
Have not. When I was a little kid and I was scared, mentally i just had to think of the Mary Poppins movie and I quit being scared. Guess I was about 18.
Julie Andrews has that effect on people. Or as Maria von Trapp would say,
When the dog bites, when the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad.
I'm no good to you on HD feedback. Cannot stream HD worth a still every 3 seconds.
Yeah, I don't think I'm seeing HD quality, but I can view them and more or less evaluate what I'm looking at. HD would be ideal of course. I'm guessing that YouTube is using some sort of compression when loading the files off of your hard drive, but I don't know enough about it to be sure.
In order to view the HD version you have to click on the little gear in the lower right hand corner and set quality to 1080p HD.

Good luck with the submission, Tom. I think I know who it is going to, but hey, I may be wrong!! ;-)
No, you are right Tom.
It is going to Dave Kunkler at Rockstar, whom Tom set me up with.
