Well, they had twice as many entries as they had spots in the book, so yes their was some doubt. I'm going to guess that Marty is in as well... his piece was so cool!
Hopefully some sort of cash stream emerges for me. I've been applying for enough stuff. Just got a very good passing grade for a state job. Some sort of Kafka -esque clerk type of job.

Oh was there ever any doubt?

Congrats. I'm with Tom. But I'm sure the field was dense. Just watched a little promo for FX magazine. Lot of great artists out there.
Not surprisingly, it has been reported to me that Marty is in the book as well. :)
Congrats Marty!
So it's a fundraiser. I want to help with the cause ( I mainly want the book )
They sell them exclusively at the con and they go pretty fast.
I'll get you and Marty and Tom and Ronnie to buy me one. Then I'll sell the extra 3 on ebay.

Money so I can be there for the next Emerald Con. My unfinished thought that should have gone in the caption above.
Harvey Pekar held down a govt clerk job while writing comics. He had a lot of comics and a movie to boot!
Oh yeah. Edgy poet literary guy Charles Bukowski worked 11 years in the Post Office.
