Tom, it wasn't a class, Glen just honchoes it. Directs the model. He said he and that model have worked together for 29 years. Yes. he has a commercial eye with his sculpture. But he got kinda excited when I told him I was an amateur moldmaker. Visions of pulling off some garage kit work maybe.
I just posted an invitation to the Oklahoma Comic Creators writers to pay me 9.75 an hour to illustrate their graphic novels. Throwing out an estimate of 2700 bucks for 3 months work.
As much or more than I 'd make a Home Depot part time. Then I could quit Home Depot.

I liked my little Valkyrie before. Studying her now, she seems very awkward and misshapen.
She has the spark of life...and Odin's fire!
Very cool y're drawing from the model. I hope that bring some lions in to sketch (wink, wink!).
The guy that conducts the class does watercolors. But is primarily a sculptor. He gave me his card

Tell the truth. I'll bet every other student looked at your drawings and was envious and astonished. "This guy's a pro! Why is HE taking this class?"
Glen's sculptures look like the stuff you find in the windows of numerous art galleries in downtown La Jolla.

Jeez Ellis, at that price maybe I'll hire you!
I'd work on a Moon script.
