Go to the iTunes App Store to see the latest game I worked on. Penguins! Escape is a mobile version of a PC game that we gave a serious facelift to. A big Thanks goes to Ronnie for braving the poorly organized original 3D files to update our little penguin animations and re-render them at a size that is more compatible for retina display. Jeff Remmer also helped out with some new background paintings.

I would guess a little bit of Lemmings was present in the gameplay.
Beautiful screens. Congrats. That looks heads and above the usual.
Thank you, Rick, for the chance to work on this fun game! It took awhile, but I finally got another shipped game under my belt (last one was in 2005). Early reaction from friends has been very positive. I think it's a charmer!
It looks great! I miss the old game-style. So much simpler.
And it's really great that you were able to hire Ronnie and Jeff to do some work!
Hey, I just wanted to hire people who I would knew I could count on to do good work in a timely fashion. :)
How quickly do you know if you have strong sales?
We can check sales on a daily basis. We have a marketing plan that is going to be rolled out over the next couple of weeks so I don't expect a lot of initial activity. It's a solid title that has had a good life in the PC world, so it stands to reason that it will do well in the touch world, especially on iPads.
Does Jeff Remmer live in Seattle now?
I like your new avatar Tom. I need to get that book out and look at it tonight.
No, Jeff is still in SD. Just about all of the work was done remotely. I had Ronnie come into the office to introduce him to the task and to see if he was up for it. Otherwise, the work that they did was all remote.
