

I'm not doing much today. I painted into a rough doodle and goofed with layers and alpha channels etc.
I've added the rough sketch that I painted straight into. I did it entirely grayscale first and then colorized it and then played with alpha channel mixing

Gad. Master of color. Don't start that rumour. I'm as colorblind as a cave bat. But this colorizing approach allows me to at least have good solid values before I start goofing with a little color
Beautiful rich effect you get from all that layering. Very tactile sense of the creature.
Yes, the creature is very sculptural.
The color is great, too. I guess you'll have to take our word for it! ;)
