Returning to old art on file

This has been sitting around for years. Old art on top. Returned to it after watching Jules and Jim last night on TCM.
Clean ups, cut ups, touch ups. Any new art done with a mouse. So not many significant edits.
Made me think I want to do another one.

I have to dig back into this one to address that big void in the upper right.

A great image Ellis. Very suggestive of intriguing story possibilities. You just want to push that red button, don't you? Thanks for posting. What was your thinking behind it when you created it?

Probably recently watched Laputa. The original was done back when I worked at Paradox. Back when I was taking painting courses but very frustrated with what I could paint digitally.

And then Pippi says to herself, "I wonder what this red button does."

Great view of it Ben.

About frustration with painting digitally. I would have settings that would seem to evaporate. I realize now that i often wasn't working at a high enouggh resolution to get tools to behave like I wanted. You get savvier as you use the tool and feel like a dummy because it's usually obvious what you're doing wrong. Another thing would be dial in a tool with settings and not save it as a new brush. Come back and your sweet brush is gone.
