Pardon the extra post, (couldn't get Blogger to accommodate another update on the previous), but I agree with you, Tom--I'd rather see the main figure bigger.
On the other hand, I built the big negative shapes deliberately, 'cuz I was thinking book cover.
This could be issue one of our version of "EERIE"... Goodson's "Black Lion" story, Jimmy's Space Coven, Schmitty's Creeple...it would sell millions!
Illustration is not my strong suit, but I wanted to see if I could do something that would work as a cover. 'Cuz y'know--I got a Gorgon story burnin' a hole in my drawing table!!

I like!!!!
I'd buy it. Great way to present the art. Lot of role playing and video game magazine cover art jobs could flow from that example.
The Gorgon. "Warning. Read it and your brain will turn to stone."
Maybe that works better as "heart turns to stone."
Okay, I see. In that case, the type fills the space up nicely.
I've decided that I love bright yellow in paintings.
Davis, Goodson, Gorham, Moon and Schmitz. We need a group pen name like "Davis Googoroonitz".
Tom, it is to laff!
Ellis, I love yr idea of a warning on the cover. Talked to Jimmy and he said he definitely appreciated the 70's era bubble font for the roll call blurb.
I really would like to go back in and enlarge the female and the Gorgon...maybe after Comics Fest.
Thanks dudes for the input!
Super awesome image! Sweet!
Were your ears burning last night? Ronnie and I were both chatting about Ellis and Marty last night at TAG.
Who's particapating in #inktober?
INKTOBER! Me.
InktoberOne
Ranjo Too
Inktober? I have to check this out....
You were made for Inktober Marty. My interpretation is a challenge to do a direct , inked drawing per day. Post it.
And like all tragic stories, I didn't check first as to the penalties for missing a day.
