Something New ...
A new crazy face ... my son Nathaniel and I have taken to working on scribble drawings and silhouette shapes ... this is one that came out of one of our sessions ...
I'm probably going to do a little more with a few of these kind of crazy faces for an idea I have called "Gated Community." More as it happens.
I left a few notes in the margins ... all the more sketch book-like ...
;-)

This is very very cool... I love this a ton! You can't go wrong combining architecture and costume! Nice work!
Beautiful pencil work, and I like the notes being left in.
His wooden nose makes me want to spray him with pesticide.
Good to see you postin', Tom. We saw "Made of Honor" last night (execrable), and they including a scene of bagpipe-playing.
Still, I strongly urge you to avoid this film. Blair and I agreed it was one of the worst movies we'd ever seen.
Good line of action going through head shape up into segmented machinery. Good potential for after effects animation.
thanks for the comments, group! And Ellis, you've read my mind. First I am going to detail a sequential deployment of the machine out of the hat, comic style ... then I'm going to take those layers into A.E. and animate, along with a word or two of spoken dialog to go along with it.
I may be seeing Joe Shoopack on Thursday, there's a PAC meeting at the Art Institute. I'll pass along best wishes from da group if he's there!!
Give Joe a big kiss from me!
Actually, just tell him I say hi and that I hope I see him at the Con!
