No, no my sweet troubled genius, I'm kidding. I just can't wait for the next Allergy-ridden Kabuki themed CGI epic. When is it coming out? Based on your beautiful and inspired work I know that it'll be... years and years before we see anything onscreen because the big wigs lack the imagination to make anything unique.
Yes! Kabuki/Tiki CGI!! Call it, "Kabuki Island": a band of itinerant kabuki players get lost at sea, wash up on the beach of a polynesian isle where they find themselves in the middle of a tropical war between two tribes, one of whom is cannibalistic in diet. The kabuki clan use their kabuki powers to cleverly manipulate/intervene/interfere with the warring factions, (think Yohjimbo).
I warned you Buncake. No posting before me. This story table at Sony was great. Hip deep in quick sketches. Marker fume city. You're always great at the POV. Right in the puss with the foreground guy. Do you have all those sketchbooks from pre tag days. Notebooks with characters and cartoons? Scan the early work and share it.

Jeff, you've got such a g-d super style. I love your recent TIKI/KABUKI nexus.
It's in the throw-away lunch sketch that true genius emerges...
...or doesn't, in the case of the rest of us.
I hope this was done at Tender Greens.
Thanks. It was done at the table with the piles and piles of sketches. I just didn't let it float down into the sediment.
Jeff, why do so many of your quick efforts look better than so many of my more labored efforts? Sigh.
I think it's stupid.

Sorry, Dreamworks has already made that movie... Kung Fu Panda!

OK, maybe not.

Buncake you repulse me and arouse me at the same time. I hate/love you!
Ellis- scan old sketchbooks??? Gross!! Well, maybe old sketches of Buncake, Decoto, or Ron Thompson.
