Making a Good Impression
This is the work of one of my students at Otis. A great cartoonist. And a brutal caricaturist. I saw this and instantly trimmed my ear and nose hair.

She is very good. Did you see on her blog about halfway down she has a sketch she did when she was 8 years old of - Earthworm Jim! Doug's influence is strong on this next generation of video game designers. So she's a student of yours eh? You must be like a god to all those aspiring video game artists!
It's funny. Earthworm Jim is nothing she associates with Doug. She associates Doug with his defunct Blog. Do not casually do politics unless they mean everything to you.
In the political arena I'm hoping for work in the Ministry of Truth-Global Warming Department doing 3d previs.
And I'm not a God. I'm pretty much half assed as a teacher. I now have so much respect for what it takes to be a good teacher, I will be giving up any future role at Otis. But it was fun. Almost like TAG
Student?? What are you teaching at Otis??? Good caricature too!
Jeez! She made you look like a refugee from the Mad Monster Party.
...or better yet. A member of Dick Tracy's rogue's gallery.
Jeff, I'm "teaching" concept art. More like photoshop tips and tricks with the occasional how to draw lesson. Not a very organized affair at all. And it's the second time so I have no excuse. I'll turn it back over to the pros in another 9 weeks.
