Wow. Feels like a spirited game of Armor Corps. I like that it has another big robot or suit guy in it. I think we can extrapolate that to mean he gets sloppy, leaves his first suit plans behind, and has to fight the result later. Makes a nice arc.
Doh! Ellis you spoiled the plot for me yet again! Just like Cloverfield. Maybe you should post concept art of Iron Man on YouTube and see how many hit you get.
I was a little skeptical about this film but the trailers look better and better.
This movie appears to have everything the Transformer's movie lacked; namely a comprehensible story; characters with a tiny bit of dimension; cool, clean FX; and editing that lets the viewer's eye rest on a scene for more than a nanosecond. Most importantly, it looks fun - the main ingredient missing from Bay's bloated, retarded take on the big robots from Cybertron! I'm really excited by what I've seen so far. No sour notes for Tony Stark.
I'm betting the guy in the other suit is taken from one of Iron Man's early adventures about his battle with Titanium Man. But Titanium Man was a Communist, and in this updated version he will probably be the product of a racially integrated and culturally vague group of "terrorists".
I just happened to notice on IMDB that Samuel L. Jackson plays Nick Fury in this movie. That's a bit of a departure from the traditional image of the character. The question is, will he be playing Fury in the Nick Fury movie scheduled for 2010?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0482631/
Plus I see that Ant-Man and Thor are in production.
Jackson as Nick Fury? It's gotta be better than David Hasslehoff!
I think SLJ will make an awesome Fury!
So let's see, who's left of the major Marvel pantheon to make a film out of... Thor? Cap? Sub Mariner? Doctor Strange? And how to cast them... I suggest Pierce Bronson as Doctor Strange!

OMG... my son's little mind is going to explode! He's going to go ape for this!
