"Slow Death" page ...
I post this because I was reminded of the last panel when I saw Rick's guy with a roaring head in his abdomen ... Naturally, since this is a family-friendly site, I've deleted a particular word from the joke ... I have a feeling most will still "get it." '70s Underground comics ... oh yeah ... BTW: this issue had a really great story from Corben ...
And here is the final page, Tom M. (and others). I'll bring the whole comic to next year's Con! ;-)

I used to own that copy. Good old Dave Sheridan . Been dead over 25 years. He was great at souping up the detail on Gilbert Shelton's Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and Wonder warthog comics. Sheridan (the comic character)takes that T Square and slices the alien head in two.
Yup. It is an issue I hope to never part with. Very funny stuff. If anyone wants to see the last page (the one Ellis mentions), let me know and I will scan it. :-)
I do. I do.
stand by, then ...
it is done!
Sheridan was a little off predicting 30 more drawing years,. Shame he didn't get them.
That was great.
All this talk of "Sheridan?" Does that mean T. Carroll did not draw all this...?
I know so little about comix!
Nope ... just sharing a bit of my misspent youth with youse all ... More drawring (a post) t'morrow.
Hey, I wonder if I'm off here. Maybe another artist was depictuing artists Sheridan as a hero but wasn't the artist on the strip. I'll have to check this. The name "Irons" is tickling the brain. He did some of the grosser stuff for Rip Off
Hell, it says on the last panel. Irons , Deitch. Sheridan was much more of a hatchey, tech pen looking style
I think the artist is mainly Irons but you're right about the spelling on Veitch.
So I research Greg Irons, and he died about the same time Sheridan Died. Only Irons was hit by a bus...in Thailand. He had just recieved a "magic" tattoo.
Veitch is the writer
