This guy reminds me of a little red ant. I envision thousands of him swarming over the landscape and stripping it bare.
I'm with Tom, He's definitely a nanoparticle. That'd be a good pitch Tom, THE LITTLEST NANOBOT. A bot that is even smaller than the rest of his pals. A story doesn't instantly suggest itself. Maybe because it's a dumb idea.
