I thought the bard piece was a gentle poke at cosplayers.
Setting was described as 'a small town.'
Just the wrong century in my mind.
Communication.
Mostly sketches. Occasionally a painting. Nothing political other than caricatures reinforcing the truism "Politics is Show Business for Ugly People".

I thought the tutorial would be about Sketch Up. I'll try to get through it, but, but I cannot cope with accents on YouTube. I can deal with the bland American accent and the New York metropolitan area, but any regional American and someone better say something interesting or funny pretty quick. Video from the British Isles are a chore. Arab, east European, Israeli, don't get more than 5 seconds from me. Sometimes I am listening to something I can stand and then they throw in an "aboot" and off to the next video. Just something wrong with me I guess. Maybe if I speed up Mr. Subcontinent here I can get through it. It's just the recorded sound, I've dealt with accents from my father to my wife to a boatload of Okies (2) in person just fine. Does this make me a bad person?
You have hyper sensitivities like me. Half the reason I gave up the movie theatre experience is the crinkling of candy packages.
I may be able to figure out a way to park that custom shape somewhere.
I'll Email it to you as an attachment. That's the obvious thing. Once I make sure I know how to package up a shape.
It's pretty cool. Click 'create from center' Have the canvas fairly large. What is really cool is it leaves behind the line for the grid when you enter. Vs before I had to 'stroke path' Also, it requires a select all, then a crop to get rid of the custome shapes out beyond the work window.
Sketchup has a tom of tutorials.

At the tail end of my shapes is the 360 degree, perspective grid making star.
If you find my recent downloads of -fish-shields-and stars- annoying, delete them.
Just leave the star at the end of the custom shapes and you can always find it.
Checkbox, create from center, and you are a vanishing point creating machine.
Also, distorting the star into elliptical shapes doesn't matter. It's just lines going back to a central point. I distort the star often to get more lines.

enjoy
The star is at the end of the shapes library at present. Looks like a fuzzy point in thumbnail form.
