Really hellish doing this with the monprice tablet. But I'll adapt. Tried to switch to the cintiq as the only monitor. But when Photoshop got glitchy and my neck got stiff, I decided the cheap tablet wasn't so bad.

Well anyway, good to see you at work, especially on comics!
My biggest problem. I Can't get into it.
Because you don't like the comic and its subject matter and writing?
Are you working with a blue pencil or is that the scan? I ask because the feel and texture of a blue pencil can be a bummer.
Ben-Regular pencil that I turn into a blue layer using selection channels. Part of the problem is I'm starting too rough on the inks. Too clueless on where the inks need to go. I'll do some digital roughing to compensate. Future pencil roughs will get just a bit finer.
Tom- mainly the subject matter. Plus the writing is fine for a film script, which it originally was. Now it is being broken down for comics. It would be better if it was written for comics. But it is mainly the subject matter. But I am going to tear into it. I'll do another 2 hours on it today. Then I'm going over to Scott Sackett's house to watch this gnomon video and do another podcast with him and DL Nelson.
P-O-D-C-A-S-T!
These pages look good! Sorry that they're flummoxing you.
