A work in progress

As I'm getting ready for Comic Fest. I figured I'd put up a still "In Work" piece. Working on 3 at once at the moment but this one is an evolution of something I did years ago. Originally I wanted it to be more of a design style but as I progressed it grew. Hope to have this one done by weeks end. Putting that Cintiq through it's paces.

Love the icy palette, and her "type." Really nice design to the whole piece. Great iconic composition. The background "print" is interesting...I'm curious to see how it integrates into the final piece.

Does she have a name??

I dig the drama of the dark areas. It's a nice contrast from your typically detailed work. I'm not stating a preference, it just makes for a nice change of pace. It's cool to see a spectrum of ideas. I look forward to seeing the final piece.
