Bought some of these for my Gran on her last visit...she's back with us for the week, so maybe I should get some more? Watched "The Bachelorette" with her last night...don't think our relationship will ever quite be the same.
UPDATE: because Batgirl never gets old....

Those are great! Miley is dead-on.
Excellent. Great to see a Marty post again. Nothing from me for awhile. I'm driving cars for about 12 hours today.
Watching The Bachelorette sounds like a good story.
Doodles I did during Sooner Con this past weekend
Welcome back Marty, and I second Ellis's comment that it's great to have you posting again. TAG is always poorer when you're absent from its ranks. What part of the country have you been touring the last few weeks?
Love your doodles too Ellis.
Marty, is the grandmother that once bought you a Batgirl action figure instead of a Batman one?
Ha! Tom, yes, this is the grandmother who gave me BatGIRL for my birthday. You'd think I'd hold a grudge.
Blair and I went up to Sun Valley, Idaho to stay with some friends and hike around the hills. Lovely place, lots of fun.
Ellis--how are you doing with the new job? Hope it's filling yr pockets with some cash--and keeping you out of trouble!
Marty, I still remember the pitiful picture you posted of yourself holding the Batgirl figure with a tragic face of disappointment on your face. I'll bet your testosterone levels dropped ten points from that traumatic experience. I think you need to add that picture to this post for old times sake.
I've already conjured up an image in my head. Need to see the real photo now. :)
Ha ha! And your brother next to you looking SO smug because he got a manly Evel Knieval action figure!
So now's your chance to get even Marty. Set your T.V. to only come up on Professional Wrestling and Ultimate Fighting channels. Then watch as grandma struggles with the remote to try and switch back to "The Bachelorette".
That is "Christmas Story" pink-bunny-costume-level-of-disappointment on young Marty's face. Awesome!
HAHAHAHAHA! You got a Mego Batgirl and your brother got Evel Knievel. Boy WHAT a bummer. That's about as bad as me getting all the Planet of the Apes figures but NOT the POTA Treehouse. That was a bummer Christmas. Apes with no place to live.
Evel's got a MOTORCYCLE! Probably with a friction motor that allows it to roar across the floor. Little Red White and Blue cape fluttering with the exciting speed.
Batgirl. Kinda static. Kinda plastic.
Job is good Marty. Two days running I've had round trips to Wichita Falls, Texas. 8 hours work. Half of it spent in a van transported back to OKC. Napping all the way, being paid the same amount.
Great easy going crew.
Driving cars. I like cars. Coming up on a four day weekend. I only officially work 3 days a week.
Going to drop Marvel as a notion for freelance. Couldn't cope with it if they gave me any.
Do Tom Moon type of work if I work at all. Personal projects. Originals for EBAY
Napping all the way? I thought you would have said, "sketching all the way!" on your personal project of course! But maybe it's hard to do in a van bouncing along the highway.
I get sick trying to read or do anything requiring focus when I'm a passenger. I'm really surprized how well I nap just by putting my mind to it. I wake up with the strain of my neck with my head drooping forward. Stretch a little bit, go right back out.
Ellis! Great to hear things are going good. Oh, man, I hope you don't give up on the Marvel--you never know where it could lead!
Glad you dudes liked the Bat Girl pic. I tell you, I was one confused puppy when I opened that package. (I ended up burying her in our backyard--how Freudian! Like trying to hide the evidence...in my subconscious!)
You are dead to me Batgirl.
