Board I'm Working On Today

Going to do a proof of concept for myself. Do something super clean using the pen tool. I'll post the result. I wrote this for myself. Short and sweet Beer commercial. Deserted island, skinny starved guys talking about they'll die before they eat another coconut. That's OK, the only cocnuts left are in the impossibly tall palm. Jurassic Park type vibration knocks the coconuts loose. Damaged beer cargo ship has run aground. Guys go on an out of control beer drinking binge with lifetime supply of beer. What's that ? A raft with bikini models!? Bikini model looking thru binoculars. Looks like some chubby guys. Other bikini model. I like chubby guys. The end.
Computer Edge art from the era shown below. Early San Diego. Browsing through stored tubs. Getting ready for massive ebay sales.
First place I worked when I came to San Diego. North Island. In a building that was designed to be a horse stable. This is probably sometime in 86 or 87. Interesting trivia. Geoff Gnobell probably took this picture. We worked at the same place before I went to Leland. Then we meet again at BlueSky.
Ahh. The old days. Everyone's favorite Tag guy, Patrick.
Thompson or Marty. Is this a famous goal? It should be if it isn't. That guy is Dambedextrous.

I couldn't for the life of me tell you how much I was paid. Thanks Tom.

yeah, the NAS North Island horse stables/graphic department. Henry snagged me one of those light boxes when they closed up operation and people were lifting things left and right.

where was that TAG pic taken?

Tag shot location is also forgotten. But might have been one of those occasions that Shel talked us into doing caricatures for some organization. May have been shot in that place we used to meet down in the Midway area.

The split level, food court looking aspect throws me a bit. We may have been following Patrick's lead, his enthusiasm for life drawing in public places. This might be that food court with the Hockey Rink, over Miramar way.

And I don't know who treated us to 8 by 10s of the meet or who took the picture.

North Island snagging of things. The obsolete computers, probably old fashioned reel to reel type affairs had big saucer size plates made of solid aluminum. A guy named Paul noticed a dumpster crammed full of those plates. I had a Subaru brat and Paul had the knowing of the recycling we could do to the things. We each got about 500 bucks for our efforts. Good money.
