"Dortmunder looked mostly like a missionary nun who was already among the cannibals and headhunters before realizing she'd lost her faith." GOOD BEHAVIOR
I used Jeff's cool preset brushes to work my way through a tracing of this Dog Character. Nice boil created with this reference PSD of what every brush does. The occasional star is a brush I liked best.

That Nun sketch came from a preliminary study of Nuns for a sketch I want to do of Donald E Westlake's John Dortmunder disguised as a Nun.
I really like Emma Coats governing note to treat the main mass of a horse as a brick. She's upped my game on horse invention with that little note.
The big ugly head is an attempt at Ed Begley Sr from the Dunwich Horror. Twice as ugly as Jr, twice as talented.
The little elf that looks as much like Meryl Streep as anyone, is actually several notes from Sandra Dee in the same movie.
The animating dog is best viewed on the Tuesday page. I edited it's display settings larger than the tumblr source.
Great sketches, Elwood!
