Um, I liked what he did, but have you seen Sky Captain? This seems a little more than an homage to the introductory short and the first scenes from the beginning of that feature film ... But again, don't get me wrong. I liked the style of what he's doing. It's really cool.
Nice. I do see a lot of Sky Captain as well. Of course that was taking IT'S lead from the Fleischer Superman short http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb8iYqIVBzQ which I'm sure this guy has seen many times.
Good point, Ellis. I forgot that everything that goes around comes around! And Sky Captain certainly did borrow from that source. Now I see that they are both borrowing from the same source and it all makes more sense.
Great work. A real labor of love as you said Rick. Inspirational. It's the best feeling to be so enthused about something you don't even care about getting paid for your efforts. Wish I could walk around all day, every day feeling like that. (But get paid anyway, heh.)

Does Superman's head-to-body ratio seem to make him just a tad... dwarfish?
