I'm Back. Hey, You Didn't Even Know I Was Gone.
We just got back last night from a two week vacation out to the East Coast: Cape Cod and New Hampshire. We hit the peak of the Fall leaf colors on our trip. How many people here have seen this, raise your hand. Incredibly beautiful! Patty and I would drive and drive, and just when we thought it couldn't get any more beautiful, we'd turn a corner and see something even more impressive. I'm posting a few pictures from our trip, and the color has not been enhanced or Photoshopped on any of these. They're right out of the camera like this, I just shrank them a little.

Wow whee. I can't believe how red some of those leaves are. Beautiful. Totally unlike our desert and chapparel.
Welcome back
Have you read the second ( I imagine last) Fletcher Hanks book?
I have read about half of it. More of same: that is, inpiring genius! How do you like it?
It's the passed over work. To give you the best of.
It may well have been a one shot but the response made for the second book.
But the lesser, more 'flawed' and careless stuff is sometimes even funnier.
Space Smith had me laughing out loud a couple of times.
I love the super lazy convention he came up with for poking heads and shoulders out of foliage.
Gobbled it all up just like the first one.
Beautiful scenery, Tom. Reminds me of my not so misspent youth in Virginia (in Arlington, just outside of DC). Scrumptious!
Beautiful! Never been to the east coast but it's on the list.
Those are some gorgeous colors in those photos!!
Consider my hand raised. MA is paradise for the month of October... the peak of the Fall colors there.
We get some Fall colors here in Seattle, too, but the number of pines make it a bit less dramatic in WA.
Deane, I can't believe that you and Dan have never made the trip to have a look at Dan's origins in NH!
Nice eye on all the compositions. I like the stormy one and the one of you and Patty in fromt of the Lake.
These lovely shots remind me very much of where I lived in Germany. Thanks for posting them, Tom. (You both look great ... and we did miss you.) I bet it's not often you can say that Patty's bright jacket can function as camouflage!
I can't believe it either, Rick. Maybe someday if Dan's school district ever decides to take a week off in October. Of course then I will need to find a nice coat that goes with the scenery.
The one at the top left is a great picture Tom, you should frame that one.
