Change you canvas size and give yourself some whites pace on the sides.
Like the red with with the black. What pencils did you use? It would be interesting to see a sketch of the whole character.
I just roughed it out with a red prismacolor and went over it with an 6b pencil. Saw an artist I like doing it , so I thought I try it. Even after by brain shut down after 3am I kept sketching. Just experimenting.
Well it really seems to add something to your sketch. Don't think I could stay up that late but I'll have to find my pencils and try sketching something.
