Okay, there was that movie called "Prophesy", but besides that, how can you go wrong with a giant bear?

PROPHESY, best scene the kid that can't get the zipper to his sleeping bag open and has to sack race flee the bear. Whap. Down feathers everywhere.
Does he get eaten by the bear? If not, why not?
