Last week I emailed Ted Adams of IDW Publishing to request a shot at a short pitch session. He passed it to Editor in Chief Scott Dunbier and we scheduled it for this Friday, Oct. 3, at 3pm.
My question for TAGgers is this: Do you have first (or second ... heh heh) hand experience with IDW, and if so can you share with me/us? Knowledge is power in a pitch session, so I want to be as knowledgeable as I can be as I enter the room to begin pitching.

I think they're good from the creator owned angle. I notice on the web site they aren't interested in project proposals. So it may be a cool environment. You'll have to heat it up with your enthusiasm.
I've only pitched Ellis's ideas...back to Ellis. And to Jeff Ranjo.
They both gave me money, so it was a success. But it was to shut me up.

Did you know Rick Johnson? RJ did some work for them and at his passing they paid a very nice tribute to him in print. All I got - good luck!
